team speak 3, i'm having a senior moment

Hi
i have downloaded ts3 and let it run as administrator but it keeps telling me my settings will be lost.

apparently it cant write to config file c: program files [x86]/teamspeak 3 client /config/ts3clientui_qt confi
and then you can use ts3 but all my setting will be lost [ as previously stated]

I have the ts3 ip etc from my previous post on recruitment but am embarrassed to admit I haven't a clue where they go.
uninstall and reinstall me thinks and soon

Hi what Version you using by which i mean 64bit or 32bit  & what Operating System  Vista or W7 ? im guessing as you said about running as admin.


To tell the truth it might be easier to just re-download & uninstall / reinstall  pain in the neck but will most likely resolve you issue.

I will attach a TS3 quick start guide which might be of some help (just download it is a PDF file)


P.S: if still having issues might be worth checking the TS3 Forum to see if anyone else has had an issue of this nature (but settings not be saved sounds like a corrupt install or download to me)

VISTA 64, the reload seems to have cured the problem. Just finding time to prove it.
